Plans for version 2

This is still just plans in my head, but the next version (no idea when it will be released) could have:

a sample and hold module
pitch to CV (for the audio inputs)
sequencer can be retriggered with the gate signal (optional of course)
options to control OSC shape using the matrix
lower CPU load (hopefully)
remove meters to make space for the new modules (they doesn’t really do anything for the sound and your host would have better meters any way)

Any other ideas? Let me know and I’ll consider them

In the FX version you had to route a MIDI signal to the track before any audio would be processed. In version 1.02 you just have to hit the trigger button (as it should be).

Putney/Cynthia in Computer Music magazine!

Apparently Computer Music (CM) magazine used Putney 2.0 in a tutorial on how to get weird 70′th-ish guitar effects. I’m a bit proud

Version 1.01

Fixed the stupid gate issue… I think. When in auto retrigger mode OR when the sequencer gate is active their gate signal will only control the envelope shaper when a key is pressed. Just as stated in the manual.
Saw a video of the original in action and it turns out that the joystick doesn’t spring back when released, but stays in position. Cynthia will behave in the same way now, leaving all Roland fans crying
HSkovlund pointed out that Cynthia sounded more clean and soft than previous (Putney) versions. I think I changed the range of OSC level knobs during the rebuild, but now I increased the range a bit, so you can get some more dirty, sligthly overdriven sounds

Finally! Got all the graphichs right (exept one - can you find it?) and added a few extra features (8 step control voltage sequencer, sync of OSC’s etc). Also included presets made by HSkovlund from KVRaudio… Thanks Download the new version and try it out! But… be aware that presets made in the Putney days can’t be transferred to Cynthia. You’ll have to transfer them manually.
